Scientific Day of the Faculty of Dentistry – Benha National University
Under the patronage of Prof. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University, and Prof. Hussein El-Maghraby, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and in the presence of Prof. Mahmoud Shakal, Vice President for Employment, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship, and Prof. Heba El-Sabaa, Director of the Dentistry Programs, the Faculty of Dentistry organized a distinguished Scientific Day in collaboration with the Egyptian Association of Dental Societies. The event witnessed broad participation from students and faculty members, reflecting the university’s commitment to supporting scientific activities and enhancing the skills of dental students.
The Scientific Day aimed to identify outstanding students through a series of academic competitions, qualifying them to represent Benha National University in the national top-students competition, held as part of the International Dental Conference (IDC26).
The event also sought to enrich students’ scientific knowledge by addressing diverse and up-to-date dental topics, while encouraging active engagement in research, presentations, and poster sessions. In addition, it focused on developing communication and presentation skills, and fostering an interactive academic environment that promotes the exchange of knowledge between students and faculty.
The program featured a series of short lectures delivered by a distinguished group of academics, including Dr. Amira Abouzeid and Dr. Esraa Khairy, along with:
• Practical competitions in Dental Anatomy, Fixed Prosthodontics, Removable Prosthodontics, and Operative Dentistry.
• Panel discussions covering various dental specialties and career opportunities.
These activities reaffirm Benha National University’s commitment to delivering a comprehensive educational experience that combines academic excellence with practical skill development, preparing highly qualified graduates capable of competing both locally and internationally.
